I've always been a music fan.
In 1977 I was at a KISS concert and watched as the photographers worked in front of the stage. I was eleven years old when I realized that I wanted to do the same. Shooting bands was a great way to contribute as a fan and to document an emerging music scene which would become part of history.
Wasted Youth, Danny Spira - Whisky, Hollywood, CA - August 1981; From the first roll of film I shot at a punk show as well as the first image I ever had published. It appeared in Flipside magazine.
